Bangkok COVID-19 Update – 4th July 2020
Thailand has recently lifted curfew and life in Bangkok is returning to 'new' normal. As of July 2nd travelers entering Thailand from abroad are still subject to 14-day state quarantine upon arrival. But as situations in many countries are now resolving, we may soon see some changes in this policy (quarantine). Hopefully it won't be too long before it's simple to travel again. :)
Scenes from Rattanakosin (First Week of June 2020) – 5th June 2020
It's been 5 days since curfew hours in Bangkok have shortened to 11 p.m. to 3 a.m. Social distancing are still encouraged. People slowly starts to get back to (new) normal as more activities such as theatres, beauty parlours, fitness, sport fileds, zoos, restaurants, are now allowed. Shopping malls are now fully open (with some protocols).
So for an update, we'd like to share some scenes with you. Most of them were filmed yesterday (4th June) from a few tourist sports nearby at Rattanakosin (Bangkok Old Town).
Please stay safe and healthy.
(Update: Temple of the Emerald Buddha and the Grand Palace will reopen on June 7th.)
